Sons Of Anarchy
Last season, I started watching FX’s “Sons Of Anarchy” starring Hellboy himself Ron Perlman and Katie Sagal. Ever since I gave up on LOST, I had been waiting and waiting for something to catch my attention and keep it and this is the show that’s getting it done. Initially I thought the show was trying too hard to be controversial for the cheap headline(ie.. a scene involving a suspected pedophile, the Sons, a local prominent businessman, and a bloody knife.) Since that episode this show has revealed itself to be much more than that. Basically revolving around a fictional Northern California motorcycle gang and their inner circle, it has been focusing all this second season on relationships within the club, within the family, and even with the Sons and the agreements they have with local law enforcement in the fictional town of Charming. This has turned in to a can’t miss show for me every Tuesday. The acting is superb, the storyline is complex without ever turning convoluted, and every episode ends with me wanting more, and kind of maybe wanting to join a motorcycle gang. I’m just saying.
