ONE WEEK ONLY: Sigur Rós “Heima”
For only one week (and I don’t know when it started, so hurry up!), you can check out Heima – a gorgeous documentary and double DVD set about Sigur Rós’ tour around Iceland in the summer of 2006. Streaming for free over at PITCHFORK TV, I highly recommend this little treat and personally guarantee that it’s worth at least a look-see. It’s great having this on in the background as you work on something else as well, but the interviews and some of the visuals are a bit too pleasing to ignore for too long.
Thanks to Jay over at TheDocumentaryBlog for pointing this out to us.
I’ve embedded the first bit underneath the seats (which autoplays once you’re there) for your perusal. If it makes the cut for you, check out the full set over HERE.

This is one of the best music films I have ever seen. 5 Stars. It’s best, of course, on a large sceen with a great sound system.
Also, if you ever get the chance to see them live, DO NOT pass it up.
