I know An Horse better - they knocked around LA for a few months last year on their own - so I'm curious to know who's the influencer here, T&S on An Horse in general, or An Horse's first album on <i>Sainthood</i>. Or if they're just generally similar and that's why T&S picked up An Horse. They're touring together again starting in January, after An Horse finished their current tour with Silversun Pickups and Cage the Elephant. I feel the new one is trying a lot of different ideas to somewhat mixed results. Good to see them not re-writing "Back In Your Head" over and over though. There's some more traditional T&S alongside some straight forward melodic pop (mainstream grab?). The new one has it's moments. “The Con” is a great, great album.
