Dave Grohl is one of the coolest people alive. Not only does he make great music and put on the most intense, chill-inducing, and entertaining show I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing (being so close to the stage that I was leaning right on it may have contributed), but the guy is personable, funny, and he rides Harley Davidsons. While I do not yet own a Harley, I imagine within a few years I will and I look forward to that moment when I ride my Harley out of the dealership and Dave and I can make a biker gang together.
Oh, by the way, Foo Fighters are releasing a “Greatest Hits” album, due to store shelves this fall. It will also contain two brand new songs, once of which is titled “Wheels” and will be released as a single on September 28. You can listen to an unfinished, poor quality, slightly altered version of it below. It has a “Learning to Fly” by Tom Petty vibe to it that I am digging.
