I hadn't even heard about MGMT until they topped the list of Last.fm's top 10. I took a listen and initially only dug a few of the tunes but the album as a whole is growing on me. This is one of my fave tunes and that video is seriously wicked.

I saw part of MGMT last year at Lollapalooza. Then my friend ditched me and we skipped the second half in favor of Explosions in the Sky. Which was more awesome than terrorizing children.

I'd kill a man to see MGMT live. I'd kill two men to see Explosions in the Sky. Man, I sure hope I can make it out there this year…

I think I saw Explosions in the Sky a couple of years ago. But I think they were last on the festival program and I left in the middle. *waits for Jonathan to kill me*

Explosions was pretty much the highlight of my Lolla experience last year. Might have something to do with a certain apple a hippie kid gave me, but it was awesome. I would see them again in a heartbeat. There are a couple other bands like them. Red Sparrowes for one.
