Great Idea, Jon, I should put my Fine Art degree to some good use here.

beautiful. looks like a scene out of a movie. i’d love to have this framed on my wall, but then i guess it would be kind of strange to have a photo of a man like this on my wall.

    who is he?

i really like this new feature. sometimes we overlook the simplest of art: painting, drawings, etc. and it is something that really needs appreciated by this generation.

I also enjoy this feature. It’s one of those small details that helps to set this place apart from the other pop culture sites.

    This is a great painting.

Thanks for the kind words, folks. While the content update is fairly slow still, I hope that before long this will pick up and be one of the go-to pop culture sites on the net, but one that offers something different, much like our sister site Row Three.

As for the painting, it is indeed stunning. Something about it just captures my imagination. There’s a story there behind that man’s eyes, behind that stare, just waiting to be told.
