First, the two episodes so far have been decent mysteries. The writers are clever, and they actually are drawing on the misdirection and sleight of hand of real mystery/thriller books. I also love that there are so many women in the cast, all gorgeous but not cookie-cutter. The woman playing Castle's mom is a terrific comedian. And finally, the Mr. Mom aspect of Castle is pretty adorable. Love. Don't know when I'll have time to catch up on the first two eps, though. It'd be really nice for the show to hang on for a while, if only so Fillion could lose his reputation as a show-killer.
